Hello and welcome! My name is Alexandria Torres, also known as "Lexi."

 

I provide education and guidance on thought-based and behavioral concepts and strategies to help people increase happiness, self-love, empowerment, and life satisfaction.*

 

Changes I would like to help you make include:

Feng shui involves arranging objects within your physical space with the intention to bring about positive change.

 

*Please Note: Consultation services are not considered therapeutic treatment. Consultation sessions are short-term, not as in-depth, and less emotionally infused. If I observe a client as potentially benefiting from psychotherapy in place of (or in addition to) consulting, I will communicate that accordingly.

Experience

  • For the past 20 years, I have helped people change thoughts and behavior through my work as a psychotherapist. I use similar concepts and tools as a consultant.
  • Regarding law of attraction, manifestation, decluttering, and feng shui:
    • Rather than claiming expertise, I am a student of each, and I am happy to share what I know.

Fees for Service

Intake Session (new clients):  $50 for 60 minutes plus an additional 15-30 minutes free of charge

Individual Sessions (after initial):  $75 per 60 minutes not to exceed 120 minutes per day

 

  • After the intake (first) session, clients are considered as "established" if they choose to return for additional help.
  • Session time goes by quickly! For new clients, I include an extra 15-30 minutes to create space for introductions and for sharing of background information (if desired). We can also devote the entire time to interventions and problem-solving.

 

Payment Method

Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, Zelle

Payment in full is required prior to each session.

 

Scheduling

Consultation clients choose the number and frequency of their sessions. After you submit an initial request form (located on the Contact page of this website), I will reach out to you by email to discuss scheduling options. Established clients are free to contact me directly (no form needed).

My general availability is: Tuesday 10am to 8pm and Wednesday through Friday 9am to 2:30pm. If you would like to view specific openings, please see "Available weekly time slots" on the Psychotherapy page of this website.

I do my best to give all clients:

~ Clear, transparent communication.

~ Working together versus "telling you what to do."

~ Directness without being abrupt or confrontational.

~ Smiles, laughter, and jokes (when appropriate).

~ Authenticity (e.g., I will not say things that I "don't mean" or suggest ideas that I would not try myself).

~ Reliability, accountability and follow-through regarding words and actions.

~ Professional boundaries inside and outside of sessions.

~ Revising current thoughts and/or creating new thoughts to improve feelings on any chosen subject.

~ Changing behavior which then causes new positive thought patterns that result in better feelings.

~ Developing affirmations to improve self-concept, provide kind support, promote hope and increase empowerment.

~ Enhancing ability and willingness to identify, communicate, and maintain healthy boundaries.

~ Increasing awareness of how physical space around me affects my thoughts and feelings.

~ Identifying changes I can make in my physical space to feel better about that space, about myself and about my life.

~ Making specific changes in thoughts and actions to manifest (create) what I want.

Feng Shui:

I am so thankful to Karen Rauch Carter, professional feng shui consultant, healthy-lifestyle designer, educator and best-selling author, whose teachings have helped me improve my life in amazing ways. Nearly 100% of my knowledge of basic feng shui principles and strategies is derived from Karen's work. I particularly love her stance of "leaving things alone" that are already working and her suggestion to follow our own guidance if something feels off.

Law of Attraction and Manifestation:

I first listened to a recording of Esther Hicks (thanks Joy!) over 20 years ago and immediately thought it was too weird for me. Upon revisiting Abraham-Hicks' teachings several years later, their information began to make more sense and to resonate with me. Author and speaker Mike Dooley first showed up on my radar when I watched the 2006 film “The Secret” and later sought him out online.
