How I Met Peter

Preparation, waiting, faith, and fun!

The Frosted Mini Wheat

One day it struck me to cut out the cute character from a Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats box as a representation of my future partner who I was mostly convinced would be named Peter. I asked M to help him have a thought bubble, and she added a name tag too. : )

MARCH 2024

FREEZER TAPE ART

M’s dad (my now ex-husband) writes the date on milk caps and other refrigerated items to keep track of how long they have been open. M and I started to do this as well, and I put the date on frozen items using freezer tape, which in my opinion is one of the best inventions ever! At some point, I started adding a smiley face just for fun.

After I started on my endeavor to attract a (new, heh) partner, I added a second smiley face to represent him and myself. When M began drawing on the milk caps, I decided to do my own version of art on the freezer tape. M and I found it pretty hilarious to see what I did with my non-existent art talent. *You can see examples of M’s milk cap art on the HAPPY page.

As you can see, the furthest date shown is 8/16/21, and I continued to do them through 2026 when I finally met Peter.

TEST

I found one of M's Valentine's Day sketches last year (2025) when sorting papers. I found it interesting that it fit in with my themes: Little guy offers heart and overlapping hearts and heart balloons… Best day, true love, you shine!

Trust the process.

I saw this one twice.

I took this as the law of attraction concept "vibration."

Peter, get here ASAP!

Also saw this one twice.

More law of attraction...
